- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I saw Dr. Schoenberg for foot pain. He cautiously tried cortisone injections to relieve it over the course of several months. Eventually we decided on surgery to remove the dammaged part of the nerve in my foot. It's been over a year since the surgery and I am doing much better. I sometimes get the feeling like my toes are falling asleep, but I rarely ever get the intense burning pain I was feeling in the ball of my foot before the surgery.
